Sienna Miller - boho chic

A trend this summer is paisley and floral patterns, therefore I have picked some of the best bohemian, floral trends that have been worn by Sienna Miller. I have already done a post on floral trends but this is a bohemian take on that trend.
Sienna Miller is famous for her bohemian style. I like her looks because they are very feminine yet they have a grundgy edge to them which makes them more unique. She always has a very laid back look and this is often helped by accessories like large oversized scarfs, sunnies and jewellery.

I like the clash of texture here with the floaty dress
 and rough denim

I like the paisley short top with the brown overzised belt.

I love the collar on this dress and the boots make it!

Chanel runway 2012

Chanel are going all underwater themed in one of their most recent shows and collections. They have sported shell clutch bags and wet hair as well as dosens and dosens of pearls!
Their beauty was something that caught the attention of most, as they used pearls to line the models spines, cover their ears and also their face and hair. This added to the underwater theme and worked very well to create a feminine look even with the harshness of the wet hair. They also had very natural make-up with just a shimery glow that helped to create more of a girly look as well as being in keeping with the underwater theme.

Shoes Shoes Shoes!

Me and sister LOVE high heel shoes but we never actually wear them out much because were like 5ft 11 / 6ft!! That doesnt however stop us looking and often buying them.
Recently we went to a gallery dedicated to old and new Vivienne Westwood shoes. Therefore I am showing you the pictures that we took of our favourite, the jelly shoes as well as a pair that were worn by Naomi Campbell when she fell on the runway in the 90's.
Vivienne Westwoods shoes have always taken risks and been slightly excentric like Vivienne herself. They are always fashion forward in the design and have been big hits on the runway for many many years.
There is also a picture of Paris Hilton design high heels that look gorgeous! We had to try them and take pictures so I have shown tham as well.
These are the green version of the ones worn by Naomi shown below.
This is the legendary moment when she fell in those very high heels!
Possibly my favourite of hers, the Jelly shoes.
The Paris Hilton lovelies.

Lush Lips clutch

I have decided to do a quick post on the Lulu Guinness lips clutch that I have had my eye on for a long time. I really like them but they are quite expensive as I never really use a clutch!
I really like the Union Jack design, like the true Brit I am but they do also have an American version which I quite like as well.
They have a pithon effect and a great shape. They are quite large in size as well and they are very popular with celebrities like Katy Perry who has been seen with a few different designs. They have been sold on ASOS for quite a while now but the Union Jack the last time I checked was out of stock.

This is the lovely Union Jack clutch.
This is a studded version.
The American version.
Katy Perry with a bright red version.

Nautical Style - Marilyn's way

The nautical trend is "on the horizon" once again for 2012 and instead of looking at the new way to wear it I thought I would go back in time and look at the way Marylin wore the trend.
She actually wore clothes and shoes that look very modern and look similar to those on offer at the moment. She has the chunky heels that are very much a hit right now and the most obvious nautical stripe pattern. Her pictures are truly vintage and this is also something that designers try to immitate in their own creations. Therefore I thought the best way to look for inspiration is to go right back to the true fashionista Marilyn Monroe.
I am fully aware of the amount of posts I have done on her but she really is an icon not to be forgotten in a hurry!

This is the essence of Nautical!
I love this shot she looks perfect and I like her auburn hair.
In her chunky heels.

Designer vs. Highstreet - Shoes

I have been looking at shoes offered on the high street recently to be pleasently suprised at the amount of designer copies there are. They all look suprisingly similar therefore I thought I would share these with you. It just goes to show that you dont have to spend a fortune on shoes to get the same look, however the designer ones do just cut above in style and definantly in the price!
The top pair from Topshop are Sport luxe and they are bang on trend. Sporty styles very much took over at many runway shoes for this year and they will be perfect! They will also be in time for the London 2012 Olympics.

A pair of Topshop heels at a price of £78.00

These are Stella Macartney at a price of £425 (these are old stock but can be bought on Net-A-Porter)
